How many days are needed to complete the translation?

Our full-time translators translate about 2,000-3,500 words per day.

How does PTSGI select its translators?

PTSGI selects only native speakers with expertise in their respected fields.

How is the translation cost calculated?

We usually charge based on the number of words in the source file. Prices vary depending on the difficulty and turnaround time.

Additional cost may be charged for recreating charts, tables, images, and the like requiring extra time, technical know-how and labor.

Will there be a cancellation fee if I cancel a project after it has been started?

You may cancel the translation at any time and you will only need to pay for the completed part of the translation.

What type of file formats can PTSGI support?

We support daily used file formats, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and such other file formats.

For PDF and InDesign files, we will evaluate the files upon receipt. An additional fee, if required, will be charged. We will inform customers beforehand.

Will it be more expensive for IT-related projects?

In some instances the translation fee for professional documents will be higher, such as research papers/reports, sci-tech research papers/reports, legal papers/reports, commercial contracts, etc.

Can I choose a translator to meet my quality requirements?

We offer trial translations from multiple translators, so that you can choose the translator that suits you best.

Can I get an invoice?

We issue an invoice for every transaction.

Do you require a deposit?

Depending on the actual situation, we may request a 20% -100% deposit.
